We encourage folks to become TLCA members so that together, we can keep our chain clean, beautiful and welcoming for generations to come — but that's not the only reason.  We're also extremely dedicated to the worthy cause of kicking back and having fun. Even better, we'd really like it if you joined us. Check out this page for upcoming events and activities in our area, photos submitted from our members, and wonderful area businesses and organizations who share our cause and help support our efforts.

JULY 1, 2023

This isn't a TLCA-sponsored event, but it's a great time and proceeds go to help a great organization. The Lion's Club handles this event, which features all manner of creatively-festooned boats, from patriotic to pop culture to everything in between. The parade starts at 6 pm on Saturday, July 1st, at the Divide between North and South Turtle Lakes. NEW THIS YEAR: Live music in the Winchester Town Park immediately following the parade (6:30 pm). Food, beer and soft drinks available for purchase. So show up, enjoy the fun and vote for your favorite - or harness your creativity and enter your boat in the show! (Boats have to be registered by 5:30 pm, at the South Turtle Lake boat landing).
